  • ContiSportContact™ 2 has a strikingly clear tread design allowing no compromises. The asymmetrical pattern guarantees maximum ground adhesion in any driving situation. This is ensured by the closed outer shoulder section and the pronounced strips of tread rubber around the tire's circumference. Another benefit of this tread design is that it delivers extremely precise steering response, both on bends taken at high speeds and when driving on the straight.

The circumferential tread strips are much stiffer than individual tread blocks. So Conti's tire engineers were able to use a softer tread compound. By combining the solid tread strips with the soft compound, tire mileage performance could be enhanced to a high level.

For some years now, silica has been one of the standard ingredients of tread compounds for high-performance tires in the premium segment.

Our ContiSportContact™ 2 tire features a newly developed bionic compound. This tread compound consists of two perfectly harmonized networks a flexible one and a firm one. The flexible network ensures maximum transmission of forces between the tire and road surface, while the firm network provides the necessary stiffness for precise handling performance, above all at high speeds.

Thanks to its bionic contour (Advanced Mould Concept), the ContiSportContact™ 2 achieves more uniform ground-pressure distribution and hence greater adhesion than its predecessor.

At the same time, the contour provides the largest possible ground contact area when the car is braking. This ensures a much shorter braking distance on wet and dry roads, and means more safety for the car occupants.

  • What Are Summer Tires?

Summer tires are engineered for optimal performance in warm weather conditions, delivering exceptional grip, handling, and responsiveness on both dry and wet roads. They are designed to excel when temperatures are above 7°C, making them a perfect choice for spring, summer, and early fall driving.

    Exceptional Grip in Warm Weather

With a special rubber compound that remains flexible in higher temperatures, summer tires provide superior traction on hot pavement. Their design maximizes contact with the road, ensuring better control and shorter braking distances in dry conditions.

    Confident Performance in Wet Conditions

Summer tires feature tread patterns optimized to channel water away effectively, reducing the risk of hydroplaning. They offer dependable traction on wet roads, ensuring a smooth and safe ride during unexpected summer rainstorms.

    Not for Winter Use

While summer tires perform exceptionally well in warm conditions, they are not suitable for use in temperatures below 7°C or on snow and ice. Their rubber hardens in the cold, reducing traction and making them unsafe for winter driving.

    Why Choose Summer Tires?

Drivers who value precise handling, enhanced performance, and maximum comfort in warm weather will benefit from summer tires. They are a great choice for sports cars, performance vehicles, and anyone looking to elevate their driving experience during the warmer months.

Best Fit for Your Driving Needs

If you live in a region with hot summers and minimal winter driving, summer tires deliver an unbeatable combination of safety, performance, and control, making every drive an enjoyable one.

  • What Are Ultra High Performance (UHP) Tires?

Ultra High Performance (UHP) tires are designed for drivers who demand maximum precision, grip, and responsiveness from their vehicles. These tires are engineered for superior handling at very high speeds, offering enhanced stability and cornering control for performance-focused cars and SUVs.

    Exceptional Grip and Handling

UHP tires feature advanced rubber compounds and asymmetric tread designs that maximize road contact. This results in exceptional grip during acceleration, cornering, and braking, making them perfect for spirited driving and track use.

    Optimized for High-Speed Performance

With speed ratings often exceeding standard performance tires, UHP tires are built to maintain stability and control even at extreme speeds. They deliver confidence and precision for those pushing their vehicles to the limit.

Designed for Dry and Wet Conditions

UHP tires are optimized for dry pavement but also provide reliable wet traction thanks to their advanced tread patterns. They effectively channel water to reduce hydroplaning, ensuring safety in summer rainstorms.

    Not Suitable for Winter Driving

Ultra High Performance tires are designed for warm temperatures and are not effective in cold weather, snow, or ice. Their rubber compounds harden in low temperatures, significantly reducing traction and safety.

Best Fit for Your Driving Needs

If you own a high-performance car or SUV and prioritize speed, handling, and a thrilling driving experience, Ultra High Performance tires are the ultimate choice. Perfect for summer and track use, they deliver unmatched precision and control.
